Terms of Service.

By accessing or using Uulen Design ('Uulen', 'the Platform', 'we', 'us'), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not access or use the platform. These terms apply to all users — both clients posting briefs and designers offering services.

You must be at least 18 years old to use Uulen. By using the platform, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts. Designers must additionally pass our portfolio review process before they can apply to briefs.

You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.

All client payments are held in escrow by Uulen and released only upon approval of the final delivery, automatic release after a specified period, or by mutual agreement. Designers receive 85–90% of the project budget; Uulen retains a commission of 10% on local (MNT) deals and 15% on international (USD) deals. Refunds are subject to the conditions specified in our Refund Policy.

All communication between clients and designers regarding active projects must occur through Uulen's in-platform messaging system. Sharing direct contact information (email, phone, social media) with the intent to circumvent the platform violates these terms and may result in account suspension or termination.

Designers retain copyright to their work unless explicitly transferred through the brief's usage rights agreement. Clients receive the rights specified in the brief upon project completion and payment release. Uulen claims no ownership over designer work or client projects.

Users may not: harass other users, post fraudulent briefs, submit plagiarized work, attempt to circumvent platform fees, share copyrighted material without authorization, or engage in any activity that violates Mongolian law. Violations may result in account suspension or termination.

Disputes between clients and designers should first be resolved through direct communication in the project workspace. If unresolved, either party may escalate to Uulen's dispute resolution team. We mediate based on the project record (messages, files, deliverables) and aim to resolve disputes within 5 business days.

You may terminate your account at any time. Uulen reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with or without notice. Upon termination, you retain access to completed project files but lose access to active workspaces.

Uulen acts as a platform connecting clients and designers. We are not party to the contracts formed between users. Uulen is not liable for the quality of work delivered, missed deadlines, or other project-related issues, except where escrow funds are involved. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount held in escrow for the affected project.

We may update these terms periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice on the platform at least 14 days before taking effect. Continued use of Uulen after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
