This privacy policy explains what information Uulen collects, how we use it, and your rights regarding your data. We collect only what's necessary to operate the platform and never sell your personal information to third parties.

Account information: name, email, phone number, password. Profile information (designers): portfolio, bio, skills, pricing, work history. Project information: briefs, messages, files, transactions. Technical information: IP address, browser type, device information, usage analytics.

To operate the platform: facilitate matches between clients and designers, process payments, maintain accounts. To improve our services: analyze usage patterns, develop new features, ensure platform security. To communicate with you: project notifications, important updates, customer support. We never use your information for unsolicited marketing.

Public profile information (designer name, portfolio, location, skills) is visible to all platform users. Private information (email, phone, Instagram, private messages, payment details) is never shared publicly. We share information with: payment processors (QPay) to process transactions; legal authorities when required by law; service providers under strict confidentiality agreements.

Uulen intentionally protects users' direct contact information to keep all project communication on the platform. This protects both parties — escrow, dispute resolution, and project records depend on platform-based communication. Sharing direct contact info to move projects off-platform violates our terms.

We use industry-standard encryption for data in transit (HTTPS) and at rest. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt. Payment information is processed through QPay and never stored on our servers. While we take security seriously, no system is 100% secure — please use a strong, unique password for your Uulen account.

You can: access your personal data through your account settings; request a copy of all data we hold about you; correct inaccurate information; delete your account (note that completed project records are retained for legal and platform integrity reasons); opt out of non-essential communications.

Uulen uses essential cookies for authentication, session management, and platform functionality. Analytics cookies (if you've consented) help us understand how the platform is used. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

Uulen is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we become aware that a minor has provided us with personal information, we will delete the account.

Uulen is operated from Mongolia. By using the platform, you consent to your data being processed in Mongolia. We comply with applicable Mongolian data protection laws and use reasonable safeguards consistent with international privacy standards.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email and a notice on the platform. Continued use of Uulen after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
